My dirty linen is the eclectic solo project of a lone Englishman in Buenos Aires that treads the line between fuzzy pyschedelia & British pop / rock in the tradition of bands like The Smiths, Pulp, House of Love, Blur and Oasis. The aim of the project is simply to leave some small part of soul in every song. Whether the vehicle which carries it is a pop melody or four overlapping distorted guitars, atmosphere, honesty and expression are the goal, if not, why bother? In this way the name my dirty linen was arrived at because triumph and defeat, love and loss, nostalgia and never-ending repeats of the same errors and defects are what make us human. Why hide them so?
